Whats cracking dogs from down under queensland, hope everyone has been able to stay sane during the off season and also gearing up for another cracking season to come in a few months! Well what an exiting month or so it has been for me, i am going to try tell you all a little about what i have been up to the last month, enjoy!!! After the season in sweden finished i set about trying to clean my apartment and car and pack my bags for home as we had to leave pretty damm fast!! But as probly jonas and the guys found out i didn't do a great job and left for copenhagen in the morning feeling pretty bad about our game and also that i didn't have enough time to clean out my apartment properly so whoever cleaned it for me i owe you a drink or 2!! So anyway it's the day after our last game and im in copenhagen with my brother trying to figure out where we are going to go for a holiday(by the way thankyou sooooooo much marko for getting my ticket extended for a few weeks, marko really helped me out a lot during the year helping my dumbass out when i had a brain meltdown or had trouble with my car!) I was thinking prague or something like that but my brother wanted to go to spain so we had to have a rock paper scissor contest to sort it out( best of 3 of course) so as usual i lose thinking good old rock can't be defeated and we jet off to spain for a week. Spain was pretty cool i have to say we were right on the beach and the weather was fantastic, but i have to say i am very spoilt coming from australia cause our beaches are way better!! The week in spain was nice a lot of relaxing and unwinding and a little partying thrown in was the perfect remedy from a rollercoaster season. After spain i was in holland for a few days catching up with a lot of family and things like that and then i set off for the longest journey of my life.......Im in holland looking for a ticket to get back to copenhagen as thats where my flight back to australia was leaving from, and i can't find any tickets for under u.s $500 and as i just blew like all my money in spain i wasn't about to spend that much on a plane ticket so i booked a ride on a bus! That took around 14 hours i think then i had to take a flight from copenhagen to london (1hour) london singapore (13 hours) singapore to sydney!! (10 hours) So all up 38 hours and im back home in sydney wondering if i should check into a crazy house because my mind was turning into jelly!!

So finally im back home in australia and looking forward to some great australian weather only to get outside and find that its pouring down with rain and wind blowing like crazy! that didn't really bother me to much though i was just happy to see my mum and dad and was looking forward to getting looked after for a little bit while i was back at home, i love coming home cause my mum knows i can't look after myself so she spoils me like crazy whenever i am there!!When i finally did get to sleep i think i slept for about 2 straight days but woke up feeling great and the rain had gone and my mum and dad were downstairs ready to take me to the beach, it had been about 8 months since i had been to the beach so i was super pumped and spent the next hour putting on sunscreen as i burn in about 5 minutes in the sun haha. The beach was awesome but i did get sunburnt which wasn't awesome! When i got home my other brother (martin) was there with he's wife and 3 kids which was great because he's wife recently just had a baby boy (wilbur) and it was great to see him for the first time, it's tough being away from your family for so long and not being able to see them whenever you want, but i guess that's the sacrifice you have to make. That night dad got the barbecue fired up and cooked up an incredible meal (better than all you can eat ribs) and i went to bed one satisfied guy.The next few days i just caught up with friends and stuff and basically bummed around getting my bags packed again to leave for queensland,about 2 weeks ago i finally got home and it was great to finally see my girlfriend kate again as we had been apart for like 8 months, also to see how my new house was going that id bought just before i left, well i got to my home and kate had decided to get a cat which was a suprise and the backyard looked like a jungle!! Im not usually a fan of cats and wasn't to happy when i saw the cat but i have learned to live with it and now we are like best friends! I also got my backyard sorted out which took about 5 days, i thought id be a tough guy and pull the weeds out with no shirt on as it was really hot, but i must have got bitten by something cause i had this massive red rash on me for like 30 minutes, but it slowly went away so all is good and our house looks normal again.

My season over here started 2 weeks ago and we are 1-1 we lost our last game by 1 point after being up 25!! I am still very rusty but am starting to up my workload everyday to get ready for the upcoming season in sweden, last season i came to sweden out of shape and was disapointed in myself with the weight i was, i have made a promise to coach and jonas and all the guys that im gonna work my ass off this off season and come this year ready from day 1, i am already looking forward to having a great year with boras and am exited that ryan mcdade and dennis springs will also be back, i think that i we can get our core group back we are going to do a lot of damage! For those of you who dont know ryan mcdade is also playing over here and we play hes team in a week or 2 so i am really looking forward to that game! he is only an hour down the road from me so i am looking forward to catching up with him. Anyway so thats what i have been up to so far it's good to hear that the boys are working hard already and that coach is getting them into shape (go nuts coach) make hakkanan do double!! and ill be back on tomorrow to talk about some other rubbish!  SKRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
