Today we played a match against Gothia.  We didn't have shoot around in the morning so I got the chance to sleep in a little.  After missing practice yesterday, I was hoping that I would wake up in the morning feeling 100% and ready for the game.  However, it did not turn out that way.  Actually, I was questioning whether or not I should even play.  But knowing how important this game was, I decided to take a few pain killers and give it try. 

 I think we played great and had a balanced scoring attack and the 20 assists showed that we shared the ball well throughout the game.  I said come and watch the high flying Michael Kingma yesterday but I have to change that now.  Next Friday come watch the high flying Christopher Anrin.  Did you guys see him almost posterize one of the Gothia players.  To be honest, I was pretty shocked.  The pass to him was pretty sweet too ;-).  A lot of players stepped their game up today with Rasmus coming in and knocking down a couple of three pointers, Hank grabbing 8 rebounds, and Simon coming off the bench giving us a spark.   I feel really good about the way we played and hopefully we carry this momentum into the next couple of games which are also huge.

That reminds me.  Next Friday's home game is free to everyone.  So you guys don't have any excuse not to be there.  We want to pack the house.  This game could be our ticket into the playoffs so I hope to see everyone there.  We have the tomorrow off so this will be a good day for everyone to nurse their injuries and get some rest.
